A week before my school starts, I was able to have another #MilesyMilesAway adventure. I just had 3 days to explore and enjoy Taiwan, Taipei! Why, Taiwan? It’s not actually my
dream destination, but everytime you’ll read a “Where to?” article, Taipei has always been on the list. So here I am sharing my experience with you..
Tuesday night, after my Home Sweetie Home taping, I went straight to the airport and arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International airport around 12:55am.
On my 1st day, no tours planned so it was a explore-by-yourself day. Near the hotel, there’s a milk tea store and I decided to buy one. While waiting for my turn, I realized that I don’t know what to order since I can’t understand what’s written on the menu.
So I decided to gently tap the girl in front of me and politely asked for her help. And she did. She asked if I wanted something sweet and I said yes. She ordered for me. And on my first day, I got a blessing too!
To my surprise, this girl named Bonnie Kuo paid for my drink! Forcing
her to accept the money but insisted to give it as a treat. What I love about traveling is you get to meet someone who has a beautiful soul like her.
Honestly, I’m not a Chinese food lover.
It was Lunch time and I
was tempted to eat at a Japanese resto. But since I love exploring, and that includes the foods I eat. Don’t know what it is called but this was my 1st meal in Taiwan, and it’s just okay!
Time to be a #turista!
I love about traveling too is meeting and having the chance to talk to our Kababayans. Here’s ate
Dimple with her boss who’s now my Whatsapp friend, Mrs.Dodo Chen.
Next stop was Shilin Night Market.
And on the second day, we had our scheduled tour. First
stop was to ride in a Cable car going
to Chihnan Temple.
Is it a
yes or a no?
During our Cable car ride, our tour guide mentioned that they do have a Panda in their Zoo. And the next thing we know, we’re already in Taipei Zoo to see the Panda!
Yes. Just the Panda then we left.
And last stop was to see the Thousand Island Lake.
It was a long and tiring day. But when we’re about to leave our last destination, God has something for me.
Thank you Lord
for this beautiful message from you. I didn’t give justice to the picture, but this was so beautiful.
It was a short but sweet and fun Taiwan, Taipei experience. Special thanks to Jordan Travel & Tours for making my trip hassle free. Please visit their Facebook account for more details: facebook.com/jordantraveltours/
